Uncultivated Rabbits are bringing SHIHAN to UC Irvine - Wednesday, April 14th, at ELH 100 (Engineering Lecture Hall).
Uncultivated Rabbits is the only spoken word organization at UC Irvine. Their goal is to facilitate an emergent student voice by creating a nurturing space where students can express and empower themselves through the written and spoken word.
When: Wednesday, April 14, 2010 @ 6PM!

Performance By: Shihan
Shihan is a national poetry slam champion, 3-time finalist, and has been featured on all six seasons of HBO's Def Poetry Jam. He met success when signed to MCA Records as an artist/writer. He wrote for the NBA Jam Session series, the theme for Reebok's 'Blacktop' Campaign, the popular Schoolhouse Rock series, as well as co-writing for MTV's Rock the Vote campaign 'Tic Toc'.For More Info:
A critically acclaimed poet, he has been reviewed positively by the LA Times, The Baltimore Sun, and The Washington Post, amongst others. He can be seen co-hosting Da Poetry Lounge in Hollywood, the nation's largest open mic.
